Okay, this post is technically not about Russia but it is about Russia in the sense that, two days ago, I blogged about a left-field proposal out of Russia to nuke the Mexican Gulf oil leak closed. Well, now we have another plan that is still more ridiculous and so this post is about Russia because it shows that the most crazy plan doesn’t always come out of Russia.
There. So. There’s a guy named Carl Fuermann who works in the University of Colorado’s registrar’s office by day, and bends matter to his mental will also by day and by night as well. He is also a member of a global mind-over-matter group called Intention Experiment (not to be confused with the as yet inexistent tween glamgoth band).
Fuermann has proposed that people just meditate on the oil leak and seal it with their minds.
“The basic concept is to try and get as many people to visualize that the valve is actually functioning and is working and closing,” Fuermann told Coloradodaily.com.
Yes, it sounds crazy, but consider this: it works. One time, Fuermann fixed his friend’s flip camera using only his brain. Now who’s laughing?

this has just made my day

There is a back side to the proposal – if there is a sufficient number of *ill-intentioned* people, they could bent the reality to increase the oil leak instead. Hey, maybe it was them from the beginning? The Russians again?
